A healthy and a balanced diet is very important for everyone. It helps us feel better and perform well in our day-to-day activities! It really isn't that hard to get started, following are few tips to help you maintain your diet:
1. Eat a good breakfast
Breakfast is necessary for everyone. When there isn't time to sit down and enjoy your morning meal, grab a bagel, piece of a fruit and some juice. Most of these items can easily stored in your residence hall.
6. Limit your alcohol intake
If you drink alcohol ,keep in mind that it supplies calories but not nutritious values. A light beer, a glass of wine or an ounce of liquor contains about 100 calories . There may also be health problems associated with drinking alcohol .
7. Drink lots of water
Your body needs atleast eight glasses of water a day and if you exercise vigorously, you may need more . Always keep a water bottle with you, it may come in handy during late night study sessions.
Stay healthy and keep a proper balance between your diet and college habits.
